Can I do this project with a friend?
Students may work together if they wish. Be aware, however, that prize expenses are covered for only one junior and one senior winner.
How can a Grade 9 student compete against a Grade 12 student?
Anyone, regardless of age, can come up with a terrific idea. The contest judges are looking for the best bill idea.
If I am taking some Grade 8 classes and some Grade 9 classes, which category should I use when I submit my bill?
If you are in a Grade 8 English and/or Social Studies class, you are in the Grades 5-8 category. If you are in a Grade 9 English and/or Social Studies class, you are in the Grades 9-12 category.
Who picks the winners?
A panel of regional judges that includes leaders in education, law, finance, business, media, arts, local government and First Nations will review all submissions
